If you are reading this because you have an animal and human conflict, your first step to solving it is to call us at (920) 470-3887. We know these encounters can be alarming, but will do everything we can to resolve them quickly and humanely. If you have no conflicts yet, remember you can hire Nuisance Pro, LLC anytime to inspect your property and help you prevent any future animal issues before they happen. We have more than 20 years of experience and are familiar with all of the areas of buildings that nuisance animals and wildlife like to use to enter and nest.
For more than 20 years, we have been putting homeowners and business owners at ease by removing nuisance animals from their properties in the Fox Valley area and Northeastern Wisconsin. We provide prompt and professional animal removal services in cases when our customers need us most.
We are experienced at removing nuisance animals including: bats, beavers, birds, coyotes, deer, ducks, feral cats, foxes, geese, mice, muskrats, opossums, porcupines, rabbits, raccoons, rats, skunks, snakes, squirrels, turtles, woodchucks (groundhogs), and woodpeckers.
We do not deal with domestic dogs or cats. (Only feral cats.) Please call your local police department or humane society for help with cat or dog issues.
Removing the animal from your property will only solve part of the problem. We work with homeowners and business owners to identify how animals are entering your space and to make the necessary repairs and remediations to prevent these animals or other wildlife from getting in again.
A chimney is one of the top places where animals find their point of entry into a home or building, especially birds, squirrels, and raccoons. We work with you to install chimney caps as a preventative measure, as well as after we have removed a nuisance animal to prevent any other animals from entering through your chimney in the future.
Nuisance animals love to make their homes in the safety, warmth, and comfort of your attic. Once they do, they leave behind their waste and debris, even after we have removed the bats, squirrels, raccoons, rats, or mice that have nested in your insulation.
Nuisance Pro, LLC offers insulation services during the months of December through March. Our technicians have developed a safe, effective procedure for removing soiled insulation from attics or crawlspaces. Using commercial insulation removal equipment, we extract all of the insulation in your attic to prevent dust, debris, or animal feces in the attic from making its way into the living spaces of your home.
Depending on your situation, we may either recommend complete insulation removal and replacement or spot insulation removal. We will take a careful survey of the surface of the insulation, looking for animals (dead or alive) and their nests, young, foodstuffs, or droppings. What we find will help us determine whether we can replace only a small area or the insulation from the entire attic. Full removal eliminates the potential of leaving dead animals, feces, damaged electrical wiring (a fire hazard), residual odors, bacteria, mites, mold, and micro-organisms under the surface of the insulation.
Reasons for using our insulation removal and re-installation services include:
In the unfortunate circumstance that we aren’t able to help you remove a nuisance animal before it dies in your home, we are experienced at helping you return your house to its normal state by remediating any odors the animal has left behind.
We start by asking you, the customer, what signs you are seeing of the animal in your home, backyard, or on your property. Just by talking over the phone with the customer about what they see happening, we can usually identify the animal that is causing the nuisance. We will ask questions like the time of day or night you hear the noise, how long it’s been going on, which level of the house the noise is on, and more. Once we collect this information from you, we typically have enough information based on our extensive experience to narrow your animal issue down to just one or two different types of potential animals.
Our next step is to schedule an appointment with you to inspect the exterior of the house and locate all available entrance and exit holes. Once we find any active entrances, we look for signs like hair, droppings, and the size of the hole to determine exactly what animal is disturbing your sleep or harming your property. Then, we trap all nuisance animals until all have been removed. When this is complete, we seal all holes and entrances to prevent animals from gaining access again. If we are helping you remove ground-dwelling animals outside of your home or building, we identify all holes or burrows and trap the animals there.
If you need bats removed from your home or attic, we handle this differently. When bats are using your attic or soffits, Nuisance Pro, LLC uses an exclusion process. We locate all entrance and exit holes (minor and major) on the exterior of the house or commercial property. Minor holes are those that are potentially available for bats to use, but are not being used at this time. Major holes are the holes the bats are actively using. We seal all minor holes right away. For the major holes, we install one-way valves that allow the bats to leave for their nightly feedings, but do not allow them to re-enter. Approximately two weeks after the valves are installed, we return to remove the valves and seal all holes. The process is then complete.
Keep in mind that our process to remove bats from buildings can only take place in the months of the year with nights that are 40 degrees or warmer, due to bat hibernation and migration schedules—as well as when they have food available outdoors (bugs). We do not remove bats from June 1 through August 15, which is the bat breeding season. The reason for this is bats have their young in early to mid-June and it takes the babies six weeks to fly. The process we use would remove the adult bats and leave their babies behind.
